Shelby is the Senior Director of Human Resources, focused on hiring, growing, and providing premium benefits to the custom team of professionals who will simplify the complexities of wealth in clients’ lives.
For more than 15 years, Shelby has been working in various HR capacities, helping organizations meet the strategic challenges of an increasingly complex organizational landscape. She earned a Business degree with a concentration in Human Resources and a minor in Finance, as well as a Master’s degree in Human Resources from La Roche University. Prior to officially joining the Waldron team, Shelby worked as an HR Consultant (official title: Solutions Provider) for Compass Business Solutions and an HR Manager/Oracle Functional Lead for Mastech Digital. She holds SHRM-CP and PHR certifications.
At Waldron, Shelby specializes in increasing Waldron’s Employee Value Proposition, driving organizational performance and building out an HR Department which will be invaluable as the firm continues to rapidly grow and expand. She is an active member of SHRM and the PHRA, where she stays up-to-date with the latest employment regulations, critical workplace issues, and human capital business trends.
Outside of the office, Shelby enjoys spending time traveling, kayaking, and hiking. She resides in Harmony, PA with her husband, Bill, three children, Aspen (8), Brayden (6), and Paisley (3) and her newest four-legged addition, a Pit Bull named Crosby.
