This quarter, we turn the Spotlight on Chad Cornish, Client Service Specialist. Chad became part of the Waldron team in 2016, and specializes in providing concierge, high-touch service to every client he supports. He joined Waldron with more than a decade of retail banking, business banking, lending, and wealth management experience with the PNC Financial Services Group.
Why did you join Waldron? Waldron has exceptional people. The private wealth management world is relatively small, and when researching the best firms, Waldron consistently rose to the top of the list. This was confirmed through firsthand knowledge offered by people in the industry whose opinions I trust. Waldron’s people are what sets Waldron Private Wealth apart from all others.
What is the best advice you have ever received? ‘The Golden Rule’ – My mother always used to cite this rule when I was growing up – ‘One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.’ This law of reciprocity has always stuck with me, and I would say it is very solid advice for pretty much all situations and scenarios.
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be? Family and Friends. What is more enjoyable then spending time with loved ones over a good meal. Barbecue anyone?
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you? I have been fortunate enough to travel through all 50 of the US states, mostly backpacking and kayaking in the wonderful national parks. Yellowstone, Olympic, and Wrangell-St.Elias are my favorites.
What is the next item you plan to knock off your bucket list? Scuba diving in the Galapagos Islands. I don’t know if this will be the ‘very’ next thing to cross off my bucket list, but this trip is moving up quickly, and I am fairly certain it will be an exciting and truly unique experience.
